Beauty Black Book Best in Blogging Weekend Roundup

posted by Liz |@beautyblkbook

It’s that time again when I casually relax in front of my MacBook clicking through the pages of my beloved beauty, art, fashion and lifestyle blogs.

This week I’m sharing the blogs that most inspired me because if you’re anything like me, your passion for all things beauty is often fed by a beauty soul sister…

After reading the Glitter Geek and spying her beautiful product shots I’ll be sprinting like a cheetah to snag the Giorgio Armani fall collection.  Positively gorgeous!

My Little Boudoir awakened my love of all things Paris by introducing me to the Caron Boutique and their exquisite powder puffs.  This is an older post but I just had to share this with you…a well appointed boudoir is a beauty maven necessity.

Fab Over Forty hit it out the park this week interviewing Director of Makeup and Education for Le Metier de Beaute, Mikey Castillo, who shared makeup looks and tips for women over 40.  Yeah, I took notes too.

Café Makeup made me blue…hungry for Dior Vernis Tuxedo that is.  I had passed on this shimmering blue polish from Dior’s Blue Tuxedo fall collection but I’ve since been convinced otherwise.

Karla Sugar once again dazzled with swatches of the unique story NARS created for their fall 2011 collection.  I predict the shade Outremer will make it’s way onto my vanity very soon.

Quick, easy and portable best describe the brush cleaner introduced by none other than My Beauty Black Book (moi).  For under $6 this brush cleaner impresses.

Why oh why must Best Things in Beauty tempt me with a deliciously pink preview of Chanel’s Aquillaries de Chanel Collection?  Truth be told,  I’m glad she did because I would hate to miss out on the Ombres Tissées in Beiges – you must see this!

A new blog to me, Messy Wands demonstrates how-to contour and highlight in a way that could quite possibly change the way you perform this often overlooked (and misunderstood) principle on yourself.  Her technique is spot on. I’ll be visiting her blog often and hope you do too.

I couldn’t wrap up the Beauty Black Book Best in Blogging weekend roundup without sharing one of my new favorite style blogs.  Style Pantry had me saying OMG one too many times as she shared images from her invite to preview the H&M Autumn/Winter 2011 collection.

Time to get out of my p.j.’s and prepare for a beauty-full day!
