Laura Mercier Rouge a Lévres in Rose Quartz: A Creamy, Dreamy Retro Nude
On my quest for a fabulous nude, I stumbled upon this little beauty from Laura Mercier. A creamy, dreamy retro pink-nude Rose Quartz is a stunner! As much as I love the color (it’s a nude pink with a slight dash of melon) what I especially appreciate is how smooth it feels.

Rose Quartz. Swatched, you can really see that dash of melon I was talking about but on my (pigmented) lips, it looks more like a soft (brightening) nude pink. I find creamy lipstick formulas that are slightly opaque, like this one, insist you exfoliate and prep lips with a balm before applying. Rose Quartz is not drying, not cakey but it does have a slight aroma that dissipates pretty quickly.

I think this is a great nude Liz, its not dead-looking at all, and has some great warmth that should make it uber-easy to wear
