I have always held a soft spot for ladybugs as far back as I can remember. As a little girl, I would race home from school, do my homework and any chores as quickly as I could then speed out into our backyard to play with the ladybugs. We had loads of them…or at least it seemed like it. You know how it is when you’re young, everyone seems older, taller and wiser than they really are. And things that appear aplenty, are really only a mere few.
When I heard that Marc Jacobs was launching a new pillar in his fragrance house, I was curious and later tickled because the quirky packaging is ladybug themed (hence the polka dots I presume)! I’ve written about Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau Fresh (still a spring/summer favorite) and I’m anxious to get my hands on Dot – the new fragrance launching this August in the US and in Australia following closely after.
Top notes are said to include red berries, dragon fruit and honeysuckle; the heart reveals jasmine, orange blossom and coconut water, while vanilla, musk and driftwood make up the base notes. Sounds delicious!
