With all the signals she’s one p.o.’d lady, mother nature gave parts of our country quite a face slap; first earthquakes on the east coast followed by lady Irene. Me thinks someone is vying for our attention…
Thank heavens many of us on the west coast were able to stay in touch with our east coast pals via twitter. What I found interesting was how the beauty conversation continued.
Amidst all the turmoil and, in some cases tragedy, many people found comfort in talking about the familiar.
This week, I’m reminding myself not to take my comforts for granted (yeah, even something the world deems unimportant, like makeup) because when the chips are down it’s what brings us comfort and joy that keep us pressing forward.
